Of course, since the quantities can be made low enough, and it doesn't need a fermenter, I might just get some 2 liter bottles and make my own lemon-lime soda.Mike Marshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15730365232944097577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1772151665349754050.post-86472337509377490052008-02-29T18:04:00.000-07:002008-02-29T18:04:00.000-07:00Beautiful! :)Beautiful! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1772151665349754050.post-32290121551554656012008-02-29T14:43:00.000-07:002008-02-29T14:43:00.000-07:00Really really nice work!Really really nice work!L Vanelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02464993766760176087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1772151665349754050.post-70045528192243443582008-02-29T13:37:00.000-07:002008-02-29T13:37:00.000-07:00I love the epi!! Now I want a Reuben on rye bread ...

Thanks for the clarification. =) It doesn't make alcohol, like a frothy brew, and most of the ethanol evaporates out of the dough during baking. Thankfully, it does impart some good flavor as it's last hurrah, and the carbon dioxide, another byproduct of fermentation, makes the dough rise. I still haven't tried a good beer-based bread recipe yet!Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00020986406730749423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1772151665349754050.post-13229602959523622752008-02-29T11:45:00.000-07:002008-02-29T11:45:00.000-07:00Looks good, fan though I am of German-style bread....Looks good, fan though I am of German-style bread. As you probably know, baker's yeast doesn't produce booze the way brewer's yeast does, but it does produce plenty of carbon dioxide. That makes it perfect for creating homemade soft drinks, like Carribean-style ginger beer, not to be confused with the other kind.Mike Marshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15730365232944097577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1772151665349754050.post-31574880901513339222008-02-29T07:39:00.000-07:002008-02-29T07:39:00.000-07:00You make such lovely loaves!
